“Yoga is authentic discovery of the soul, and a powerful source of healing. Through the teachings of yoga I find clarity, devotion, gratitude, and a passion for life.”
Alyssa discovered yoga as a sanctuary, a place that offered strength, clarity, and deep joy. Rooted in the rhythms of her California coastal lifestyle, her practice reflects the balance between movement and stillness, effort and ease. What began as a personal journey soon evolved into a calling to share the profound connection between the body and mind that yoga brings. With a background in cognitive science and psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz, Alyssa brings a unique lens to her teaching, one that honors the intricate relationship between mental wellness and embodied movement. Her classes are thoughtfully crafted to guide students inward combining intentional breath work, physical alignment, and a deep awareness of the nervous system’s role in healing. Rooted in the wisdom of Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Kundalini, and Yin, Alyssa’s teaching blends classical foundations and creative flow. Alyssa completed her 200-hour teacher training with Noell Clark and is a certified RYT through Yoga Alliance. Her continued devotion to wellness reflect a commitment to growth as both student and teacher.
Alyssa’s mission is to inspire individuals to reconnect with their innate wholeness, to breathe more fully, move with intention, and live from a place of soulful authenticity. Whether flowing through a dynamic sequence or resting in stillness, her classes offer a space to be presently embodied, and at home within.
